About Us

Isuru Herath is an undergraduate student at Cornell University studying Chemistry & Chemical Biology. He is a Research & Development Analyst on Cornell DEBUT, a project team that designs novel biomedical devices. In his free time, he likes to draw and play the saxophone.

Sasvi Kulasinghe is an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she studies Biology and Public Health. On campus, she is a member of the American Medical Student Association, the Student Health Advisory Committee, and the UMD Anokha a cappella team. In her free time, she enjoys hand lettering and calligraphy.

Shivawn Angelo is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in Public Health and Psychology. Shivawn is a member of Public Health without Borders and will be a member of Depth Psychology Society and Medlife. In her free time, Shivawn enjoys listening to music and playing the piano.

Dineth Karunamuni is a senior at Wilton High School in Wilton, Connecticut. He will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall of 2020 where he will study Biophysics. In his free time, he likes to play basketball and play poker.

Hasala Rannulu is an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Biochemistry and Sociology. Currently, he works as an undergraduate researcher at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Medicine, co-founded and is the Vice President of the Pitt Squash Club, and volunteers with Steel City Squash, an organization that tutors and coaches children from the Pittsburgh-area. In his free time, he roots for his favorite football team, the New Orleans Saints, and plays squash.

Kenneth Abraham is an incoming freshman at Andrews University where he will be studying Biology. He is also the CEO of The Social Contract Corporation (an organization that provides food for the less fortunate). He has also worked alongside professionals in the FDA where he researched HIV/AIDS. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, tennis, and working out.

Dulmi Ratnasiri is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she studies Physiology and Neurobiology. Dulmi is a member of Girl Up!, an organization that aims to empower girls and raise awareness for United Nations programs that help adolescent girls in developing countries. She is also an active member of Maryland Club Tennis and participated in Terp Thon’s 12-hour dance marathon where she raised funds for Children’s National Hospital. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music and watching/playing tennis.

Dilshan Senanayake is a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Mechanical Engineering, graduating this coming December. On campus, he currently works as a Technical Director for the A. James Clark School of Engineering, responsible for recording lectures for students to view at a later time. In his free time, he likes to work out, play basketball/tennis, watch TV, listen to music, and play poker.
